Resurrection of the project

It took nearly a year and the half of waiting before appropriate to the content – spark of creativity, motivation, passion and commitment, came together and sat me in front of Final Cut Pro. Fundraiser at “Exchange” – 14 days to go…

We are doing our best to fit preparation tasks in to tightening schedule, which at the moment leaves us with 14 precious days, before we travel from Ireland to Republic of Kiribati (Kiritimati).
Having entire project financed by own means, we are constantly dealing with budget-related problems. “Exchange” Gallery was generous enough, to support our final fundraiser action. “Kiribati Project” team was honored with a chance to present some of the artworks for sale. To express our gratitude, IT equipment will be donated to the gallery, which will hopefully contribute …

Kiribati Project – 25 days to departure

Time goes quicker than ever and day counter drops digits with concerning speed. Quite as departure would be associated with something unpleasant.
Surreal factors fade away as most of the pieces of our “to do” list are getting achieved.  Nearly entire equipment is now acquired. Most of the expenses and hassles – covered.
Tension grows and stress boils up as we realize what else is missing and how much is to learn on each field that could we possibly go wrong.

Either it’s man-made or caused by natural rhythms and cycles, current stage of climate change turns group of atolls on the pacific ocean in to potentially first of modern era nation under serious risk of disappearing under water levels.
