Resurrection of the project

It took nearly a year and the half of waiting before appropriate to the content – spark of creativity, motivation, passion and commitment, came together and sat me in front of Final Cut Pro. Pulled in to chaos of raw and messy video clip jigsaw, I could forget about world I know and focus on the world I miss.

Sensation extremely close to obsession, tinted by definite addiction, for the most of the time keeps me endlessly analyzing, cutting and pasting pieces of footage which now seem to be fresh as …

My past is my future

28th of September in my calendar is marked by humble anniversary of departure to Irishland. Another yearly cycle came to close, since getting out from midnight flight from Brussels 9 years ago… Where did the time go? – there’s no way to avoid that question… And as much I wouldn’t like it to be – it is indeed, only rhetorical cliche type of dilemma…
Few years ago, charm of that day ultimately got ruined by acknowledgement of the fact, that my life here does not flow on just one simple timeline. …

Rejection Litter

Advertising, Design and recruitment companies in general receive so many submissions those days from desperate, poorly employed or unappreciated – most have already stopped sending out even the shortest, most impersonal rejection email receipts.
Representing this special and humble community of unwanted for “good” number of months, in order to stay sane and sustain my survival instincts pushing me forward, I’m considering now a personal rejection email to be a significant victory! Knowing that recruiter cares enough to take the time to inform you personally that there is no way in …

Glitters – Modern Fable for Modern Children

There is always time for a fairy tale. A story immersing in magic and life forces we barely acknowledge in broad daylight. But when the night is upon us, the world enters a different reality. The reality when we become children again believing in fairies and dragons. Children already know that dragons exist. Fairy tales tell them only the dragons can be killed. It is high time for another story about dreams, crime and wonderful power of friendship. Welcome to Glitters, where blood can turn into gold.
To celebrate the …

Humor as the weapon

Some new to me concepts about Storytelling, Humor and Politics emerged from interesting interview with Dylan Brody hosted on Office Hours Podcast, few weeks ago. I decided to take some notes which I publish below for myself but for benefit of others. As much as I respect Dylan’s opinions and work in general, I would like to add some points from my view point. I encourage to listen to entire interview available at this link.
Modern comedy from its early boom in 80′s and 90′s once gained broad access …

Please, take your seat

Maintaining the website such as this one, requires more time and effort than one could think it requires, just by browsing trough it’s pages. Recent months provided me with delicious chance to feel real motivation for this whole venture. Volume of reappearing audio releases is at its “all time high”! (Just as planed, with the end of 2010.)
I’m still quite far from the goal, of setting live radio stream, which could be embedded in to mobile app (or just played online…) App development ain’t easy and search for automatic app …

MT Radio: Shifts on the East

Today, “MTR” presents much less informative, but hopefully equally enjoyable episode featuring mashup of clips and music – I thought would be appropriate. Despite my desire to present reasonable take on the “unrest” – I’m still quite baffled about lack of objective coverage from this region. Ignorance of mainstream media, ridiculous glorification social media tools, play on words, shifting takes and global oils scare are putting me in overall disbelieve. As hard times on the East evolve, I am unfortunately more than sure, to have further occasions to take more …

Another look at Valentine’s Day

Since there was no photoshoot organized for this year’s Valentines day, I’m reposing few pictures from the one made last year. Hard to believe that whole year has gone by. Luckily we didn’t grow any older. (At all!) Just wiser and more more entertained by daily challenges and surprises…
More seriously now – Unfortunately, other projects took over the calendar and made it impossible to think of anything worth doing in photo department. Last years session was possible thanks to Models: Woyteac & F.O.C.A. and photographers and editors: Piotr Kąkol & …

MT Radio: Revolution in Egypt (Part 2)

Thank you for taking time to listen and learn about the background of the Egyptian revolution. Following episode begins with basic introduction made by Richard Boyd Barrett. During his speech he refers to Asmaa Nassar speaking in the previous installment. You may want to listen to it, if you haven’t yet.
Richard makes few interesting points, among which he explains why this particular revolution is so important to all of us and builds bridge of similarities between their culture and ours – obscuring the fact that we are not so much …
